Contest: Students (K-12) are invited to submit questions for General Stafford to answer.  Many of the questions will be posted with their answers in the Stafford Air & Space Museum.  Exceptionally well-written questions will be put into a jar for a drawing.  The kids who submit the winning questions will receive an invitation to come ask General Stafford their question in September.  Enter by September 3, 2010 to be considered for the drawing.

Design Contest

 
 

            General Stafford’s input was instrumental to the design and development of many flight-related developments since the 1960s.  As specified in his official NASA bio,
General Stafford wrote the initial desired specifications on and started the advanced technology bomber development, now designated the B-2 “Stealth Bomber”. 

 
 

Contest: Design an air or space vehicle.  Include a description of the purpose, importance and picture of the vehicle.   The winning designs will be posted on our website and displayed in the Stafford Air & Space Museum.  Separate Categories for grades preK-3, 4-6, and 7-12.  There will be a $50 Grand Prize for the most exciting and best description. Enter by September 3, 2010 to be considered for the prizes.
